found nothing of help, everyone seems lost. This prompted me to go search the internet. I rendered my timeline, IT WAS STILL THERE. I thought this was simply because I was working inside of a preview, and that the final render would be fine. That would sound even more displeasing than the current issue. This was not acceptable as I can't just silence the audio for 2 seconds at every cut. I too think this feature is so poorly put together, especially when I was doing this inside of a nest, and every time I cut the nest in my bigger timeline, the effect started over at the beginning of every clip. TL DR: Finalize the sound effects of your clip, add 3 seconds before your clip, Right-click > Render and Replace, cut the excess 3 seconds at the beginning. I suspect that this is how the developers intended it to be used and didn't bother telling anyone. Hey guys, so y'all might be kicking yourself when I tell you my solution.
